CHO Cell Culture Media
Chinese hamster ovary cells, or CHO cells, have long been cultivated and modified for use in molecular biology and pharmaceutical biotechnology. Mammals are where Chinese hamster ovary cells come from. The cells were taken from the ovaries of a Chinese hamster in 1968, and they have since been expanded and improved in vitro. They can continue to be reproduced infinite times if they are made to be viable outside of the rodent’s body. Both stable and transient expression can be performed using CHO cells depending on a variety of hosts and production clones.
Sarvoshadhi has developed a CHO cell culture medium which support high protein expression and betterment in the characteristics of the various clones.
Sarvoshadhi’s CHO medium is serum-free, chemically-defined, protein-free, and animal component-free products. It is developed for a long-term, high-performance suspension cultures for various CHO cell types. The media is suitable for research, as well as routine large-scale cGMP manufacturing.
